SERVING
OUR COMMUNITY
SINCE, 1869
SERVING IN HOPE APPEAL         JANUARY 2010
January 21,2010

DEAR FRIENDS,

As you know, THE ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY is an
international society.  Our work and our commitment reach beyond
every border to link with Vincentians around the globe.
This point is particularly important as we gather our resources to
help our brothers and sisters in Christ suffering in Haiti.

The work of rebuilding Haiti will not be accomplished today,
tomorrow, the next day, or even next year. But we will begin today
with both financial and prayerful support of our Haitian brothers and
sisters who are truly suffering and in need of our compassion and mercy.

We have been asked by both our National and International
Councils to be as generous as possible in supporting the aid work
of our Society in Haiti.

Thank you, in advance, for your support of this effort. We have
been blessed as a Council here in northeast Nebraska. We are now
being called to share some of those blessings to relieve the
devastation in Haiti.
