Helping Hands and Prayerful Hearts

The St. Vincent de Paul Society and the local
Parish Communities provide their
members with opportunities to participate in
multiple and diverse volunteer services
directed to the poor and marginalized. Our
parish home visitors offer financial assistance
for utilities, rent and mortgage payments,
information, referral services,crisis
intervention, emotional support and prayer..

Volunteers run the Food Pantry, Staff Three SVDP Stores in
the Omaha vicinity and also Staff the South Omaha Office at:
The Juan Diego Center,
5211 S. 31st St.
Wednesdays from 10AM - Noon.

Volunteers are funded by their Local Parish
and contributions provided for by:
The SVDP Conference Assistance Program.
Many of our members are active in
Leadership Activities, Pastoral Care and
are proficient in problem solving.
