WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is an international organization of
Catholic laypersons who see their work on behalf of the poor as a means
of living their faith.  Members visit the homes of those seeking assistance to
provide help with a personal touch in meeting those bare necessities.

The Society’s Omaha Council consists of 38 “conferences” at area parishes
which handle many calls for help and also support city-wide “special works”.
These works include 3 Thrift Stores and Pantry.
Helping those in need by providing resources for services

CALLED FROM THE BURDEN OF DOUBT
INTO THE LIGHT OF FAITH.
Lord Jesus, you who willed to become poor,
give us eyes and a heart directed toward the poor.
Help us to recognize you in them-in their hunger

core values with integrity.

"We are so blessed this year to be able to offer our guests
fresh produce from our own garden!  Several volunteers
have helped us weed, water, and harvest these healthy
treats and we are happy to supplement our
donations with the "fruits of our labor"
Thank you very much to all those who have helped
make our garden a growing success this year!!"
