The Message: You're receiving this invitation to a prayer vigil because of your called to faith roots; some are more rooted than others! As you probably know, the Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith (CDF) has censured the Leadership Conference of Religious Women (LCRW). Catholic coalition groups are organizing prayer vigils across the nation to prayerfully support the sisters and to pray that the censure be rescinded. Catholics, and many others, have a long tradition of prayer. We know that prayer is the most powerful force on earth; our Father does work in mysterious ways. Two prayer vigils are being organized in Omaha: Dates: Tuesday May 22nd and Tuesday May 29th Where: St. Cecilia Cathedral 701 N. 40th St. Time: 5:30 - 6:30 PM In case of rain the vigil will be in Our Lady of Nebraska Chapel at the Cathedral. Please come and pray with us. Please bring a friend or two and tell others of the prayer vigils.
