Our Mission Statement
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha is a grassroots, volunteer-based, direct-aid organization that brings together men and women to grow in their spirituality through service to others. Serving the Omaha area since 1869, we are part of an international organization, linked by the common mission of our patron St. Vincent de Paul.
Parish-based conferences provide
person-to-person emergency assistance to
community neighbors in need.
Our client-choice food pantry at
2101 Leavenworth Street provides supplemental food to more than 2500 people a month,
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9-12:30 a.m.
Four SVdP thrift stores in the Omaha area
provide gently-used clothing, furniture,
household goods and new mattresses
at great prices.
