Disciples of Charity

Monthly Giving Program

Over 1,600 households reach out to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Omaha each month, asking for emergency assistance.  Local families struggle with avoiding eviction from their homes, with having the funds to keep the electricity and heat on, with clothing needs for growing children, and with escaping serious bed bug issues.

Any contribution, small or large, helps us help our community neighbors in need.  You are invited to join our sustaining members in a charity program embracing our founder Frederic Ozanam, a disciple of St Vincent De Paul who is known for his dedication to the poor.

  • Sustained giving of $25 or more per month is recognized by membership in the Disciples of Charity Circle.

Disciple donors are devoted partners in our mission and lead the way in helping the Society reach thousands of individuals and families facing difficult situations to become self-sufficient.

Disciples of Charity enjoy special benefits, including:

  • Enrollment in our Vincentian Book of Prayer, where your intentions will be remembered during our meetings as sustaining members of the works of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Omaha
  • Recognition in our annual report (optional)
  • An annual invitation to celebrate our patron St. Vincent de Paul, and founder Frederick Ozanam.
